Solar Panel Arrays #

Overview. #
Enter the details for each of your solar array’s (a group of solar panels). This is required so that your solar generation can be forecast / estimated. You can skip this setting if you don’t have solar panels, or if you don’t wish to use the solar forecasting functionality.
Instructions. #
1.
Solar Array Quantity. #
Enter the total number of Solar Arrays (not individual panels) you have. This will create settings forms for each of your arrays, allowing you to input the unique details for each one.

Unique Solar Array Name. #
Enter your preferred unique name. For example, you might enter the location such as “House” or the direction such as “south”.
3.
Array Declination / Tilt. #
Enter the angle to the horizontal for the array. This would typically be between 30 and 50 degrees, to reflect the roof pitch.
4.
Array Azimuth #
Enter the direction of the array, the azimuth. The details of the direction, together with examples are listed on the settings screen.
5.
Array Power (kW) #
Enter the total power for the array in kW. For example, if you have an array of 10 panels, and they are each 400W, the total power is 4000W. This is entered as 4 [kW].
